Any full Hispanics going thru preop or postop!food

I'm reading all this intake of food and it's kind of hard to follow all because it's the same when you live with full Hispanics/ Mexicans in the fam. Everyone looks at me like I'm drinking weird stuff..... I'm interested to know who is going thru this same issue( example I'm drinking chicken broth(box) for my preop diet and my husband tells me just isn't better you male your own "caldo de pollo" which is chicken stew.... uuuuuuhhhhhggg

I was totally being serious. I am Mexican and make my own pinto beans often. They are delicious. The refried black beans from Trader Joes are phenomenal. Much easier and more efficient.
I totally agree and I am a latina.
