Congrats! Glad everything went swell. I have my op tomorrow 10/20 and seem to be rather calm. I know tomorrow though will be a new way of life from here on out.

Keep us posted please!

Thanks,

Dan from Houston, TX

I've been able to get liquids down, but not full liquids. Yogurt sat like a lump in my throat. Now I'm waiting for discharge until after lunch tray to see if it's better

I hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

I'm currently in the waiting room room waiting to be called for my operation. Not nervous but definitely got many things on the mind.

That's great! Did you try the Gas X strips? They REALLY helped me. I know some people say that they can't help because the OR gas is different than gas from digestion, but my doctor said they would help and they did. It makes sense because they want you to burp and fart after surgery to get rid of it, lol. I only had bad gas pain briefly and I used 4 in a row and it was gone within like 30 mins. Walking definitely helped as well.

The liquids are tough at first, I didn't meet my minimum until day 3. If you're still in the hospital and getting IV hydration then I wouldn't worry too much.
