Anyone banded by Dr Gobil, South Nassau Communities Hospital

Hi,

I'm from Queens and going for my first consultation on Sept 10 with Dr. Gobil. He is on the same team as Dr. Vohra (Dr. Vohra doesn't take my insurance, Aetna).

Just wondering if any of you used Dr. Gobil and if so, how did you like him?

I'm joining the Lap band

Hey everyone,

I was banded on 8/30/07 by Dr. Benavides in Richardson, Texas. I am having alot of trouble getting enough protein in. I have tried all diifferent kinds of protein drinks and they make me nauseous. I guess I understand now why they call the few weeks "bandster hell"! I do love my band and do not regret my decision. I'm just starving! I cannot stop thinking about food! I have been viewing these website for several months and have received so much valuable information. I'm so glad I found this website before my surgery. It really helped prepare me for what to expect.

hi bdavid,

i am not banded yet but soon and unjury is a good protein drink and they have samples for $1.75 plus s&h and they are good flavors are vanilla, strawberry sorbet, choc., chicken soup and unflavored. you might try and see if this helps.
