Cheated on Pre Op Diet

I was starving to death. I have been starving all week and nothing was just making me feel full. It was horrible. So I cheated. I now feel so guilty, and when I logged in and seen how many calories and carbs were in what I ate I feel even worse!

I had chicken tenders and fries....

I have surgery Thursday and some days I feel like I am not strong enough and I am scared. I hate that food controls my life like this.

Am I the only one who has cheated? :(

Thank you!

I am okay. Haven't sleep well due to the steroid shot they gave me...

And I'm sore this morning.... but I've been up walking around and pottying every 5 minutes.

I have to take the GI test in a few. I hope it's not too bad.

That's awesome I most likely having mine in November and so afraid of the pain from surgery I see some horror stories of people who say it's bad and others who cope with it okay

In 2008 I had my gallbladder removed, I learned the hard way by not moving and not getting up and walking....

The best thing you can do. AS soon as you can get out of bed is walk around.

Literally I was still half asleep from the anesthesia and made my husband pretty much hold me up so I could walk. Lol

If you only have to be low carb (and don't have a fat restriction) look at some of the Keto blogs. I started a week early and was practically mainlining fat to get me off the carbs. I was right on the carb border most of the first week. But I discovered a Keto faux pancake recipe using eggs + reduced fat cream cheese and that a little melted coconut oil really helps that protein shake stick. And by week two I'd flipped into ketosis and found it to be easier. Also discovered that the Nectar protein packets are zero carb and awesome to keep in your purse.
