Hi I am looking to find out about a local doctor, price. Just anything that can help. I don't have insurance. I am going to have this done. I don't know how yet. I just have been trying to get it done for 2 yrs. I found one please for 12000.00 Is that a good price? Also I worried about finding a good doctor. Thought about going to Mexico? Did you check on Tallgrass in Topeka? I was going to go with them. But, a Shawnee Mission Hosp got approval for my insurance before Tallgrass could. I have also heard of a Dr in Denver on here that has a good price also. Goodluck....it is a bumpy journey due to insurance!

My surgeon is in Shawnee Mission. He impressed me, and I have been a repeat customer. His office workers - not so much, they actually managed to push a few people away from the practice. Their website is Welcome to the Bariatric Center of Kansas City, Providing surgical solutions to obesity.

Dr. Malley is in the KC area. I have never been to him, met him, etc. but I know three people who were banded by him and they all rave about him AND his office staff. He is the one with the commercials on TV.
