Hi all. After waiting a year and seven months and a postponed April date, I am on the schedule for tomorrow morning and am beside myself. Mostly nervous as hell. My whole life is about to change and I know that even preparing for over a year and a half nothing can make me feel ready for what is about to happen. If anyone could send some words of advice and encouragement I would appreciate it. How were you able make it up to procedure time? Thank you in advance

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! You have come too far to back out now. The nurses will take great care of you and make sure you are able to hold down liquids before you go home. Just think about the new wardrobe you will need in six months!! Best of luck with everything!!
