1 year bandiversary

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I've been lucking for almost a year and finally registered. My one year anniversary was 12-4. I have lost exactly 100 pounds. I'm 5'8". I started at 255 and am 155 now. My goal is 150 but I don't really care if I get there because I'm thrilled with the way I look right now. I love my band and am so thankful I was able to afford it. I was a self payer and it was costly but so worth it. I just had a Tummy Tuck and breast lift with implants and some Lipo 5 weeks ago to complete the new me. Thanks for letting me share.

Here is my before picture and one just taken so you can see the results of my plastic surgeries. I'm in a bikini....OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I know they are going to be huge again so I'm hoping Rebeccalee can make them same for me again. Thanks by the way and I just wanted to say Dr. Feng did my band surgery and Dr. Cirangle...aka, Dr. GQ has done 2 of my fuills. Small world. The plastic surgery was the worse pain I have ever had but it was worth it at the end. The 1st week is hell and then it's starts getting better. I would highly recommend anyone do it...the pain is short lived and the results are forever.

Belinda,

I have seen Dr. Feng a couple of times. He is a sweetie. Dr. C is a great doctor, but he chews my butt on occasion. Really....I don't know why. :guess I'm glad I chose them to do the surgery. :D

Wow, Belinda, what a great job! Where did you have your plastic surgery done? How much weight did you lose - just from the PS? What size clothes were you then and now? How old are you? You look like a kid! (That's a beautiful baby you're holding!) I am so impressed!

You guys are the best. Thanks again Rebeccalee. I had to uplaod the bikini picture separately. I'm 5'8", 44. Dr. Freedin Auburn California did my TT, BL wit implants and Lipo of my flanks. I do have before picture's of my ugly stomach before, if you guys want to see but they are ugly. I lost about 10 more pounds after the surgery and am a size 7,8,9 depending. I need a tan though....LOL.

Rebeccalee,

Dr. Cirangle really chewed out mine too. I have to go for my yearly and I see them in Sacramanto. Well, Dr. C was this month so I'm waiting till next month because he doesn't believe in PS until your 2 years out. I know he'll yell at me...LOL

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
