Were there any questions during your pre-op with your surgeon that you wished you had asked now that you are on the other side?

Any suggestions of what questions should I ask?

Can't think of anything I should have that didn't but be sure to ask about his specific preferences: drain? catheter? etc

I can't think of anything either. My surgeon was very thorough in going over lots of information about the surgery, pain mgmt, nausea, pills, walking, hospital stay, his follow ups, diet plan, haital hernia repair, etc. He had it in writing and I signed off on everything.
