I don't have the same insurance but I got my appointment datesneeded to meet my insurance's 3 month requirements booked at my first appointment. They also did my initial blood work, diet, insurance requirements, and a discussion with my doctor about the options at that appointment. My final appointment is Tuesday.

You have every right to be excited about the first step in your journey.

Best wishes to you.

YAYYYYY I know it seems like forever when I first got my packet with all the stuff I needed to do I felt like I would never get through it but here I am 6 weeks out and 32 lbs down

I can only speak from my experience but there are a lot of appointments, tests, meetings with nutritionist and psychologist prior to submitting your package to the insurance company to see if they qualify you for the surgery. I started the process in January and my surgery is August 1st.

My first appt with Dr was basically going over my medical history, past weight loss attempts etc. Good luck and don't be nervous...no need:)
