It's been two days since my coordinator told me she had my paper work and I'm wondering for people who called their insurance company how long did it take for them to see that it was sent it. Obviously she's a busy lady and might not of submitted it yet but I'm curious and anxious.

I'm not sure how quickly the insurance company had it in their system, but my surgery was approved in about 7 business days.

How were you notified? I called Cigna to check my status and she said they would send me a letter in the mail. I'd like to know sooner than that!

My coordinator called me when the insurance company notified her which seemed to be almost immediately. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to tell you weather or not it was approved. I would call again and say you'd like to know the status of your pre authorization.
