Does anyone find they can tolerate things more after their surgery?

Not food but things like people, places and things?

I'm just curious.

I spent the entire day Friday at an amusement/water park with the grandkids. We finally got home around midnight. I didn't find it to be too hot even though it was near 90. I walked the entire day and even hit the coasters. Didn't sweat too much. I am 67 and doing this before surgery would have taxed my system quite a bit. So I guess you could say that I can tolerate this more.
