Nail polish/Acrylic nails

Surgery is in 3 days and paperwork says to remove all nail polish. I just got a new set and pedicure less than 2 weeks ago . I can and will take off my toenail polish but do I have to get my nails taken off?

There are lots of reasons to remove the nail polish. Surgical nurses are not allowed to wear it either. So just remove it.
