How Many Pounds until People started discussing your weight loss?

Did you ever notice that a normal size person will loose 10 pounds and the whole world stands up and takes notice, like they broke a new world record. I know that it is every bit as hard for us to loose the weight, yet 10 pounds does not cause the world to stop and take notice. I have seen amazing weight losses on this site and every pound is a success!:whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:

So my question for this tread is how many pounds did you loose in order for the world to take notice? and how did you feel about the attention?

At the begining of my journey,

MCENI

Mine was about 35-40, which I have been yo-yoing ever since. I think I will get past it now though, because I have to before surgery.

I don't mind the compliments, its just a little trophy from working so hard.

I just got my first comment from someone I work with sometimes and hadn't seen since June. I really can't tell yet from looking in the mirror but my clothing is loser. I imagine my co-workers notice the floppy suits more than anything else.

My family started noticing and discussing my weightloss at 40lbs. My friends are just now starting to talk about my weightloss at 50+lbs. One of my friends said I was the "amazing shrinking woman" and another said she "barely recognized me because I was losing so much weight and she was jealous" (of course she is thin and doesn't need to lose weight). Feels good when people notice the hard work and they have all been very supportive and encouraging (however, they don't know about the band. They just know that I am on a diet and that I am exercising 6 days a week)
