How long did you take off work? Non desk job

Just curious how long you took off work if you had a somewhat physical job? Im a poker dealer which requires tons of stretching and my stomache is up against the table all the time, bumping. My dr says only 2 weeks, Im thinking 3 or atleast I was until reading around this site, now Im thinking 2 months lol. Plus I have a 2 yr old to work with

It took me a full 10 days to feel well enough to even consider working. And that was just about the pain. The fatigue went on for months. If you have a non-desk job, I would suggest two weeks off.
