Vitamin B12 deficiency try to get the shots it absorbs quicker. Don't let it stay like that it can result in permanent nerve damage. WLS causes B12 deficiency I had the same thing happen to me. Or try the under the tongue tablets that rescue they sell it at Trader joes. Good Luck!

If you remained morbidly obese - just think of the health consequences including premature death. However - at 22 years old you are also old enough to make your own decisions, research your options and educate yourself on the changes you need to make after WLS. You may not be experiencing a B12 deficiency ; there's a number of causes to tingling including dehydration or not getting enough Protein (to sleeping funny). . If you are not following your Drs and Nutritionist plan - there will be issues that arise - consequences of that decision. This surgery is what you make of it - you can let it ruin your life or you can make it improve and lengthen your life! It's up to you! At 350+ lbs at 22 years old - you were headed in the direction of ruining your life without WLS. Sorry to sound harsh - but you need to start looking at this a different way.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
