7 months post op and stil not tolorating some foods

When did you folks start eating without feeling bad? I still have many things I can't tolorate. Tonight I steamed some carrots and threw them up...same thing with salad, rice, beef and anything heavy. Just a few bites and I feel awful. Not over eating just not agreeing with my stomach. Anyone still have these problems or have any stories?

I don't know as I'm pre-op... I guess make the best of the foods you can handle? Good luck and I hope others have advice for you.

I'm 10 months post-op and still feel nauseous after I eat...are you eating too fast or not chewing properly? I can't tolerate bread or rice...could be the starch. It does get better...or so I'm told :)

I've read many people can't tolerate salad after surgery. I was told not to eat rice so I would avoid that anyway. Beef can be iffy for some. Eat slowly and chew alot!

I am 6 months post op and have had and continually have problems with turkey and pork (i.e., chops or roast)....too heavy for me in the pouch...also have probs with certain nuts like cashews...ok with this just hope someday I will be able to eat pork chops again. But if not oh well :)

I cannot eat scrambled eggs or one of my faves- shrimp! My stomach begins to hurt so badly that I literally have to make myself vomit it up or it will hurt for hours. I just figure it's life now.

I can eat beef but it has to be medium rare. I love my beef that way anyways but when a restaurant overcooked it I thought I'd try, yeah no. No good.

So over it I had Cereal last night and felt sick I probably should've just caused myself to throw up and before surgery I never had this issues my stomach so sensitive I don't want to eat but I need to eat to lose weight I miss being able to enjoy food
