I'm a 70 pound overweight female in my 20's with no other conditions. I know I overeat big portions and eat fast food 2-3 times a week. I am hoping the sleeve will help me to restrict my intake and motivate me to make better food choices for life. Will the sleeve help me do this or is bypass a better route for me?

I have read some people feel restricted when they eat and others don't, some have no hunger while others do? Does it all vary from person to person or depend on the type of surgery/surgeon you get?

I guess my fear is going to Mexico and having the sleeve and it not working for me. . .

I agree. I didn't puree much if that at all, heck I never even got into protein shakes much. Refried beans were my fav, yes I had taco bell... yougert, etc. Mine was only 7-10 days then I got an egg!!

I just came from Mexico.i has my surgery on the 16th of april.And i was scared to go but it was worth it hospital was like no other i been to in california and staff nice and friendly.as you i am 75 over weigh the doctors suggested i get the sleeve because my bmi wasnt really high.
