Make sure you are getting lots of protein and fluids. And yes, I think you can get headaches when drastically cutting calories. But check into whether you used to have a lot of sodas or coffee. Giving up caffeine can hurt, too. Good luck and I am so happy for you.... you are on your way to a new life!! Keep posting!!

woo u must be bursting with excitement I know I was! the liver shrinking diet is tough but very important so stick with it. I also got headaches but it is normal. good luck xx Karin xx

I was so glad to hear you say that, I am almost obsessed with thinking about this all the time. It is great and I am so excited. If you are giving up sodas, coffee & tea, the lack of caffine will give you a headache. I lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks, just doing the liguid diet twice a week. I am so excited, I do not have a date yet, but will have tomorrow for the end of the this month. Keep us posted

Hey everyone, I just received my date 8/20 & doing the pre-op diet. I'm off of all my cola's and caffeine. I'm so nervous. acutally scared to death.I don't like being put to sleep. Anyway excited about the going to be new me.
