I too am from Michigan (Wyandotte - southeast of Detroit) and now live in Tennessee (Nashville).

I was sleeved six months ago and am happy to help out with any questions.

I had the sleeve done May 12th 2014 and have lost 95 lbs. I want to get to 146 lbs so need to loose 28 lbs, but can't seem to loose anything. I have been at the same weight for a while now. I can pretty much eat anything I want and I find myself picking at food all day and I know I am not getting my Protein or Water that I need in a day. Anyone have any suggestions to help me get back in track.

yes, but you already know the answer ;-) get your Protein and Water in and don't pick at food all day. get rid of any simple carbs that have snuck in. Have your set meals and Snacks, and move your body as much as you can!

If you are not tracking what you eat you may want to do that at least for a while to regain a clear idea of what you are really consuming each day. I use my fitness pal and I have gotten in the habit of logging what I am going to eat for the day every morning. If I change from what I've planned then I go in and make sure that I am still on track so that I meet my daily goals.

You may not be getting enough calories either. Focus on tracking as the others said and make sure that you aren't still sitting in the 700-900 range. You should easily be up in the 1200 range

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm from Gladwin, MI and I am 2 weeks post surgery. I was wondering if any has had the issue this early of hitting a wall with your weight loss? I lost 20 pounds my first week. I have remained the exact same weight for the last week. Any tips?

MrsGreaves. Not to sound gross but have you had a BM? In the beginning that can cause you to hold weight.

20 in the first week is amazing, I think I lost 10. I'm also stuck but I'm in week 4. I had to find a different Protein because I became very intolerant of the shakes.

You've heard it before but I'll say it anyways: make sure you are getting your Water and protein in this healing phase too

I'm experiencing the same things animalvr64...I was sleeved on April 6, 2015...lost 65 pounds, gained 7 back...moved back down to the Detroit area from Petoskey where there was an awesome walking trail..I sit at my job ALL day, I know I've stretched my stomach and am terrified I'll gain all my weight back...I feel hungry all the time
