I'm in the consultation phase. Having my surgery at Mayo Clinic, but do not have a surgery date yet. I'm self pay, have Aetna insurance but my plan doesn't cover anything to do with weight loss. Because I am self pay, I'm on track for a June surgery date. Anyone else having their surgery in June?

I am from Jacksonville. I had my surgery June 2014 at Baptist Medical Center. Congrats on your upcoming surgery!

Hi @Changed2016. Yes, my surgery is Monday, June 6th! I'm on day 8 of my 14 day pre-op Optifast diet. Dr. Ellie is doing my surgery. Since he is new to Mayo, it's pretty easy to get in with him.
