Band Slippage with too much liquid???

Can you have band slippage if you drink too much liquids....I was banded 2 weeks ago, all I have been on is liquids, but I can drink a whole "cup of soup" (cream of chicken, very smooth) with small sips, but I still drink it all!!

Any thoughts??

I think you'll be okay, I was doing the same as you at 2 weeks, I was hungry and managed to get a whole cn of soup down, but I was very full after. Just make sure you don't have to much and over eat, beleive me you'll know if you do, sharp pain in left had side for me anyways! The problem I'm having how is realising I'm full, eat slowly! Good luck.

No,

Dr. Curry says it's alot harder for a slipage than you think and I ask him that same question 2 weeks after surgery. I think you'll be fine. I would just do the liquids as long as your suppose to and then progress on.

Congrats on your surgery. You will absolutely love you band. It's my best friend.
