Pre-op 45 year old here...My first post

Sup all...I currently pre-op working through my checklist of all the medical test and screenings. I am shooting to get a surgery date in April/May. I see there hasn't been any post in this area in a long time. Hopefully I can connect with patients in my age group, but Any age is welcome though. Holla if you want. In the meantime, I will keep checking out post in other areas.

I am 42 and had my bypass on Feb15. So far I'm feeling good. I took a month off of work after and needed it. All my recovery time I focused on fluids and Protein and moving more. I was really sore, but the strong pain med made me sick, so I just used liquid Tylenol. I really wish all the best of luck! We all need it. This isn't easy, and the support is crucial. I would do it again in a minute! I feel wonderful.

This is my last weekend before my surgery on Monday. I don't know what to do with myself! LOL

Hey @@Papiluv33, good luck! You'll do great. I am just one month post-op now (as of yesterday). I'm down 25 lbs since surgery (and that was with a 14 day stall).

If you're interested in what my first month post-op was like, I did a fairly detailed write-up yesterday.

You can find it here if interested: http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/365863-one-month-post-op-thoughts/
