Aetna- 3 month process

I've been approved by Aetna however have a 3 month diet plan to follow per Aetna's requirements. Has anyone done this route and how soon after you started your process were you given a surgery date? Does the 3 months start on the day of your first consultation or the day you meet with a dietician?

I keep them cross for ya. I was hoping too. After reading peeps comments about 3/5days approval. But I calm dwn focus on shopping for things I need and went work. Then I got edge again on the 13th day. Now things r going really fast. I wish I had couple more days to prepare. Lol I five days to go and gave to clean, wash clothes, get daughter hair cut...etc

found out the insurance coordinator in the office did not send in the clinic notes and when the insurance company reached out she STILL did not send it. So my paperwork just sat there for a week!!! I possibly could have had an answer by now.

My surgeons office will not allow the 3 month process with Aetna because they said it was considered the fast track. Per the clinical bulletin it was not called that. Very dissapointed but what can I do about it.

@@tbella67 can you find another surgeon?

Yes I can. Just didn't know how to go abut it since I have already started with this one. I even called Aetna and they never told me the stuff that the office said had to be done.

I considered changing 2 months in. I called the new surgeon's office and they told me all they would need is all the notes from the current doctor I am seeing. It would have been fairly easy. I think the only thing Aetna looks for is 3 consecutive months.
