Revision from sleeve to bypass

Has anyone else gone this route and did you have to fight the insurance company? I had one insurance when I had the sleeve and now I have a different one. Has anyone else revised from sleeve to bypass and been successful?

I have an appt on the 10th of Feb to see if this is what we are going to do and if my insurance covers it. It looks like my insurance does but I don't know if I meet the qualifications. They set the appt knowing what my insurance covers so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was hoping to find someone else who's already had it done also. I'd love to talk to them.

Call your current insurance provider. Explain the situation and ask if they cover your current situation despite another insurance covering the sleeve. They will also tell you what your policy requirements are.

I can't help with the insurance part of your question however I have had the sleeve and revised to the bypass. The absolute best decision I could have made. Very different feelings and restriction with the GB. I also have an aversion to sugars and fats by this I mean have no desire to eat either; and I don't plan too. Good Luck with your process.
