Is it normal?

Okay I've been on the soft foods stage (soft enough to cut through with a fork) for 2 weeks now and all I can tolerate is 3-5 small bites. Is this normal? Should I be tolerating more? I'm not even hungry, I'm eating to start getting used to eating "real food".

A half cup...

I was very restricted and literally a couple of bites would fill me. With dense Protein like chicken I still can only eat a few bites and I am full.

If it is something really soft like yogurt I could maybe eat 1/4 cup and further down the road I was able to eat 1/2 cup.

Even now 16 months later 1/2 cup cottage cheese will fill me or 2 to 3 oz. of meat.

What you are experiencing is normal.
