  1. Djmohr Thank you for the pictures. Your arms look great! I'm contemplating having mine done but not sure when yet.
  2. Do you mind if I ask how much it cost? Thanks.
  3. So on 6/30/16, I went to see my surgeon and after being weighed I was informed that I had reached the goal weight set by my surgeon before surgery. It was an awesome feeling and a goal I thought I would never reach. My personal goal is 130 lbs (I'm 5'2) so I have about 13 lbs to go. Shopping was a whole new experience too...I actually enjoyed it!
  4. Has anyone on here had arm lift surgery (Brachioplasty)? What are your thoughts? Thanks.
  5. Has anyone on here, had arm lift (Brachioplasty) if so what are your thoughts? Thanks
  6. Thank you for the input.
  7. I have been more gassy. I had bowel movement yesterday after suppository. Where do I get smooth move tea? Is your pain worse after you eat?
  8. Since Friday morning (after I ate) I've had abdominal pain, close to my belly button. Now every time I eat, I start hurting. It's not terrible pain but it's there. Could it be that food is stuck in my pouch? Has anyone experienced this? Or does anyone have any idea what it could be? Help!
  9. Samcl 1 Thank you clarifying my original post/concern. - Btw I also start my count from midnight to midnight and it seems to work a lot better. But I still struggle with getting all my Water in on nights were I work. I'll keep working on it. ????
  10. What kind of fruits can I have on soft food diet?
  11. Glitter eyes Thank you so much for the advise. I will definitely use it. ????
  12. Bunyip I'm a critical care nurse (first clue right there) on night shift so it's ALWAYS busy. Being able to make time to stop to eat or drink it's not always easy. Patients/ doctors don't care if you need to have your Protein or not they just want to be taken care of. Sometimes it's hours and I realized I haven't even gone to pee once. Anyway...that's the scoop. Hopefully it'll make more sense. ????
  13. Ever since going back to work after my surgery (1st week back), I've been having trouble getting all my protein and water in. Anyone out there work night shift too? If so, do you have any suggestions?
  14. Okay I've been on the soft foods stage (soft enough to cut through with a fork) for 2 weeks now and all I can tolerate is 3-5 small bites. Is this normal? Should I be tolerating more? I'm not even hungry, I'm eating to start getting used to eating "real food".
  15. Cookarue I too had my RNY on 12/29. I'm going through the same thing, I don't feel hunger at all. So far I've been trying (key word "trying")to do breakfast and dinner (soft foods) as well as 2 8oz protein shakes and 64oz water. There's just no room or enough hours in the day to get all of that in. Today I didn't meet my protein goal...not good.
  16. I start soft foods stage next week and was wondering if anyone cares to share some soft food recipes with me? I have been researching and it seems very limited. Thank you in advance. ????
  17. Thank you ALL for your responses. I'm sure it'll help me in the future. ????
  18. Hi, I'm new here. I'm 10 days post-op RNY. - I was wondering if any of you, have had people/friends/coworkers act different around you since weight loss surgery? How did you handle it?
