My surgery is February 19th. Anyone around that day? I'm getting nervous and am looking for someone to bond with over this.

My bypass is on feb. 8th. Not exactly the same day as you, but I'm sure your excited, nervous, and ready to just get the "show on the road"! I know I am all of those things.

Are you starting your pre-op diet anytime soon? I start mine this Sunday the 24th.

I know what you mean!! I'm trying to get everything ready for post op: protein powder, clear liquids, the right size containers, etc. during all this preparation, trying not to let my nerves get the best of me????!! We all work hard to get to this point, and now that it's here, it's like "Okay, this is really happening!" It's exciting, relieving, scary, and happy all rolled into one big ball of emotion.

I should get to schedule mine this week or week after. Hoping for end of feb.

We all work hard to get to this point, and now that it's here, it's like "Okay, this is really happening!" It's exciting, relieving, scary, and happy all rolled into one big ball of emotion.

Yess! now that it's right around the corner it is kind of like a dream-phase and I'm sure it will be more surreal as I get closer and actually get to the hospital!
