Today is the day!

I am off to be banded today! I am happy that it is here and scared at the same time. I have such high expectations of myself and hope that all will turn out great!

I only lost 8 lbs on the Optifast and was very good to stick to it.

Everyone has been so supportive and I thank everyone for that. Wish me well and will hopefully be able to post in the next couple of days.

Here we go on the ride of a lifetime!:clap2:

I am having some strange goings on today----I woke up at 4:00 am and had the distinct idea that I was going to upchuck. Called my surgeons office and also the dietitian and they think that I should not have eaten "soup in hand" velvety potato and that I should have strained it.

I am feeling bette but still have a tight sensation around the port area. I hope I didn't do something to really have problems! Needless to say I have spent the day in bed pretty much and hope tomorrow is a better day!

SD....congrats! What can you take for the gassiness? Or for sleep? Did your doctor give you a couple of valium or something to get you through the first couple of days? I am excited for you, at any rate!
