I've met my goal weight and yess I have to wear my wedding ring on my middle finger and it fits really loose there too! but I'm happy!

What made me do it????...Well it was nothing traumatic, but my family took a trip to Disney World in June of 2007, and when I almost had to have an extender for my seat belt, on the flight I knew I had to do something! and when we were in Disney I was very miserable, I couldn't walk all day like the rest of my family. so as soon as we got back I started researching lapband. By Sept.2007 I was banded! Best thing I've done for myself so far!

I was just approved by my ins. for breast reduction, and had no problem at all getting the approval. I understand your fustration because I for sure did not want to finance my reduction like I did the band! ( i didnt have ins. then) nor did I want to wait to continue to gain wait while I got ins, or the ins. tells me to diet first.... well if I lost weight with a diet I would not need the band! Keep fighting it and find a good ps that will write an excellent letter to your ins.! Good luck

I've lost 100lbs and it will be 2yrs since my band in Oct. and I a went from pre-band ddd to post band dd. and I am scheduled to have mine done in Aug. I want to be at least a full c. It's not so much that they are too big now, but my back and neck hurt I think because well they just "hang"there, if you know what i mean! the best part is I get a lift done too! good luck with whatever you decide to do.

so.... how did it go??? is it really painful?? I too just got the news on Monday that I am approved! not as lucky to have it 100% but still good. I thought it was going to be alot more hassle than that with my ins. I have Texas True Choice. I am scheduled for Aug. 20, 2009!

I am also in the process of waiting for my insurance company to approve me. I waited two weeks and called the docotrs office and they just gave me the lady's name who is reviewing my case. I guess no news is good news???? now it's been about a little over a month. still waiting.... I'm a 42dd and I've lost like 100lbs with my band and I am ready to start "reconstructing" my body!

i was also banded sept.18,2007! I would not change a thing! I love my band and only wish i had done it sooner. I have a hard time with breads, and some meats, but it also depends on the day, i don't know why one day i can eat real good all day, the next not too much. Regardless i love the new me!

this is my challenge right now too! Someone mentioned doing arm circles, backwards. I dont do them often enough to notice a difference so... But i need to start because it will be one less plastic surgery i will have to worry about!

Yes i'm starting to see the insecurity coming out of my husband too! He jokes that before i get a tummy tuck i have to sign something saying if i leave him that i have to pay him the money for the tummy tuck back! Lol, and sometimes he says that he is going to start picking out my clothes! I just laugh, after all when he met me i was a size 5 or 7! And dressed decent sexy!

SO LATELY I FEEL LIKE I WANT TO LOSE MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL GOAL WAS. DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THIS WAY? THEN I FEEL DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I DID NOT LOSE ALL THE WEIGHT I WANTED IN 1 YR. MY YEAR IS COMING UP ON SEPT.18,2008. I STILL HAVE 47LBS TO GO. ALTHOUGH I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS SO FAR I'M FEELING A LITTLE MAD AT MYSELF FOR NOT DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT, LIKE EATING HEALTHIER OR EXERCISING MORE! I DONT KNOW JUST WANTED TO SEE IF OTHERS FEEL THIS WAY TOO.:w00t::smile::frown::frown:
