self-pay plastic surgery anyone???

Can anyone tell me how much to do a tummy tuck? I know that there are probably alot of variables, but maybe a ballpark figure. Also, does anyone know of somewhere that offers cheap but safe surgeries? I researched a surgeon for my lapband and found Dr. Kirshenbaum on this site and I flew to Denver in July. He was wonderful. Now I would like to start searching for plastic surgeons. I have lost 70 pounds and still have about 60 to lose but I want to start looking now.

Thanks.

I am going to Mexico to have my lower body lift and will be paying 7100 I believe just a tummy tuck is around 5500, that price is all fees included.

Hey Quennee

Where in Mexico if you don't mind me asking. I will be self pay and need a full body recontouring procedure. I am self pay for band and I am almost positive I will be self pay for reconstructive surgery as well. I still have about 30 to 40 more pounds I want to lose but I am starting to research my options.

Thanks!

Melissa

I am going to CosMed and using Dr Quiroz, he was highly recommended form my lap band doctor down in Mexico the two work closely together.

I paid $6750.00 Canadian for my TT, 2 months ago. That includes everything

I LOVE my new flat stomach !!

It is gonna be soooo worth it!

Thanks for the info quennee. I will reasearch this doctor some more. Michee, did you have your reconstruction surgery in canada?

I paid 7000.00 in Texas for mine, planning on getting the boobs reduced and that will be another 6000.00. If it goes as good as the tuck did,I won't miind dishing out for it.

I'm not quite ready but hoping to be at goal next summer so I'd like to start looking into it sooner than later. Manatee, it sounds like your doc was reasonable. Do you mind sharing his name and location? I'm in Houston.

I'm curious too.. I'll need some PS too and I'll be self pay.. I'm sure that my insurance won't cover.. ugh!! But I've gotten this far, no need to stop now!!

I had my surgery with Dr Stuart Lipton. I quite literally picked him at random. I'm pretty sure that he undercharged, because the amount of work that I ended up with (so far!) exceeded what he told me to expect. That doesn't count round 2.

Dude's been excellent so far, cannot fault his care at all. I just wish my body was cooperating better.

Dr Stuart Lipton, M.D.

Your price will vary

13,000 ish for extended TT, mons, lipo and back lipo. included 2 nights in the hospital (only 1 planned, but my BP was very low), pain pump and best of all NO DRAINS...

loved my experience and surgeon - Harlan Pollock in Dallas

in texas, i paid $5600 for my tt and lipo, that included all followup treatment.

where in texas? What is the name of your ps?

Well, I went yesterday for my second consultation...I added some things that I want done. I initially wanted a tummy tuck and inner thigh tuck. I'm going to have a lower body lift and breast lift with augmentation. I'm scheduled for April 14. The total for everything, including hospital stay, fees, implants, everything is just about $19,000. I will be paying for everything myself but I know it's so worth it. It also includes all follow-up visits forever!!! Good luck (and wish me luck).

Tina, the best of luck to you! You're gonna be so hot, you won't be able to tear yourself away from the mirror!
