Looking for Pre/ post buddies - Surgery date: 18/12/15

Hello Guys,

Im new here!!!

Im extremely nervous (As I'm sure everyone usually is), Im in desperate need for some support and some surgery buddies as my surgery is a bit of a secret (to my friends and all my family except for my mum).

My surgery date is the 18th of December 2015 in England

Is anyone else getting sleeved around the same day?

Has anyone used Professor Ammori in Manchester?

Same here! Most of the pain was from the gas....however I did throw up about 5 times

I had surgery on 12/15 and I'm anxious for the next week to pass by, so I can hopefully get off this liquid diet. I really didn't have any pain or nausea, but I'm very tired. I had a little gas pain day 1, but not bad. This morning was the first time that I experienced any nausea and it was bc I tried to take my powdered vitamins with 2 oz of water. That was a bad move! I threw up and felt pretty bad for about an hour. Besides that, not one episode of nausea. No pain meds since leaving hospital. I do feel hungry and wish I could eat an egg, beans, something. The sweetness of the shakes I now find disgusting. The protein soups have helped, but I'm sick of liquids. I haven't been able to get my protein in the past 2 days. I sleep a lot!!

Hey Knoxvegas, glad to know your pain is minimal! Can't wait till I'm 100% pain free! I'm getting discharged today and I can't wait to just sleep!!!! Lol
