Dr says if I'm no better within 24 hours I need to go to Dr forfluids. Hoping iI wake up and the meds have kicked in because iI have to much stuff to accomplish :)

Fiesty, gosh I hope the medicines work for you, though I don't have any experience with them.

Thanks Mis

Ok Fiesty, how are you this afternoon? I was thinking about you all day.

Awe,thank you ma'am still feeling a little rough but able to get more fluids in. I'm already at around 18 oz. Of fluids for today. That's huge. Dr called to check in and wasn't exactly pleased with how little and I had to explain that it was amazing. :)

That's awesome that you have gotten that far, and hey there is more time left in the day to squeeze more in. There are definitely days where I was struggling. Even up to this point. I have to sometimes make a decision of what is going to be priority (protein or water). It is definitely tough when you can only hold a few bites of food. I am able to tolerate liquid meals better, so I eat tons of soup. Well not tons...but you get the picture.

I will wait till Monday to try to add any protein or solids .clear liquids till this the meds build up in my system. :) it is a pain and I've already put in for Gatorade to carry more g2 options lol I fell in love with the greeen apple but they don't have a low calorie option

Wow fiesty so sorry this is happening! I was on one of the nausea mess it didn't help me either but I am better I am eating a lot better! However I don't get my protein in it just makes me sick! I try to get in as much through food as possible.... Was down to 224 this morning yay slowly but surely.... Feeling like I'll never see the teens... I notice that I lose more with more calorie intake. I guess because I was one that didn't eat enough before the surgery anyway. 24lbs lost????

Ritchey, thats awesome! I was finally able to weigh today which I should have waited until tomorrow morning as usual but I had spent a week without my scale nearby and I was really having some withdrawal issues. I did manage to lose this week despite the food issues I had to overcome. Just so glad to be back at home where I can at least feel like I have some control.

Alright so I cheated and weighed yesterday evening because of my lack of impatience. But I did the official this morning...So this weeks weigh-in put me at 217, which is down 5 from last week. Yippee. Lets just hope the momentum continues for a little longer, and I will be in onederland!!! I cannot "weight".

Shout out to Ritchey, Belize, and Feisty!!! I am just checking in with you gals. Hopefully you are all blissfully bouncing back to yourselves. Have a wonderful holiday season.

Thanks mia,how have you been? I'm great, still hate the thought of almost all foods and have been horrible because its been so busy and crunch food is my go to. So I find myself snacking on Doritos ugh .I'm at 211 lbs this morning so its not far off from.do any of you take store bought vitamins that are approved ? I still havent started back taking all the required vitimens and all the ones I bought don't have all the required amounts. Please let me know brand and name, thanks

Merry Christmas Ladies,

I am doing well. I haven't weighed in this week due to being out town with family, I was at 213 last week, so hoping for a continued loss. While I am away, my focus is protein, protein, protein, water, water, water.

Fiesty, that's awesome! You too Ritchey, I am excited for the holidays as well. It is my absolute favorite time of year.

I take "nature made" B12 tabs, iron tabs, I do a gummy multivitamin, calcium chews (sugar free caramel). The calcium came from costco in a gold and purple bag, can't think of the brand since I only brought enough for the trip. Nature made can be bought just about anywhere, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.

When I spoke the doc about vitamins, he stated some docs will recommend against a gummy multi-vitamin, because it does not have the totals you need, however, because I am supplementing with the iron, b12, and calcium, he feels the gummy is adequate.

As far as the doritos, its time to find an alternate crunch you like that will not crunch back in the long run. I am sure you have probably thought of this already. I usually will go for carrots or nuts (almonds are pretty easy to pulverize during the chew process). Apples with cheese. Also, there is a healthy version of dorito you can make yourself. I saw it when I was looking up DIY foods a while back, but I sure you can google and it will come up.

LOL I have found myself to be most fond of avocado. It taste even better than I remember and it goes down so easily. I have been trying to negotiate with my tummy about what is ok and so far, I have lost a many battle. Which means that in addition to my protein shake in the morning, one meal for the day ends up being a protein bar. But hey, that is 50g I don't have to focus on for the time being.

Good Morning Ladies,

Up early this morning trying to reset my schedule. This past week was sort of difficult, I did not eat as much as I should. I got my protein in of course, but my calories were low just because I was doing a lot of moving around and have a tendency to forget to eat.

I hope you all are enjoying your holiday season!

NSV: I went to the skating ring with my family and my mom walking behind me grabbed me at the waist and says "girl, look at this tiny waist" ; > not where it needs to be but hey I will take it. Oh and 2 hours of skating and racing children keeps you sore for days. A great feeling.
