I just had the procedure 3 days ago..

and I am suppose to be on clear fluids for 4 days then full fluids for 10 days, but I have no problem drinking a liter at time, and I do not feel at all full. Is this normal, will I not feel full until I get the first fill?

Did everyone stick to the schedule of clear - full - purred and then solid?

Thanks,

Carla

I was not hungry at all for the first couple of weeks. I stuck right with the food restrictions as I paid $16,000 and really wanted this to work. I was also scared about doing some damage to the band.

I also was not hungry at all (banded July 5) and am now on full fluids. I sometimes have more than a half cup of soup, but other than that, I am sticking really carefully to the post op diet. I don't want to stretch the pouch (the small part of the stomach above the band) . Besides, I love that I'm losing weight already. Stick with the diet!!!!!

Yeah me too. I am able to eat about 6 oz. (liquid) of soup ... I could eat more but I am not doing it...

I wait 2-3 hrs and if I am still hungry or stomach is growling then I have another snack or more cream soup.

I was banded June 22 and I gotta tell you, I was starving by the 3rd day. I just drank my fluids and made up my mind that it was ok to be hungry. I guess I just got used to the feeling and now I kinda like the hunger feeling. My surgeon has me on 4 weeks of clear fluids. YES! You read right. I have done pretty good. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks and today I broke down and had some cream soup and a Protein shake. Now I go full fluids for 2 weeks, then mushies for 2 weeks. Yah! I was not required to do a pre op diet, so since my banding on June 22 (as of today) I have lost 37 lbs.
