I went for my first fill and after several attemps and x-rays they were inable to give me a fill. Now they want to do it under fluro. They say my port is perfect and right where it should be. With fluro will they be able to get it right the 1st time or is there a possibilty of several sticks again. Also they were talking about a new way of doing fills where they insert the needle, have be stand up, fill it till I'm closed off and then back off a little bit. They say it should prevent the need for several small fills. Has anyone had this done? I live 6 hrs from the Dr. so if it will work I am tempted to do it.:help:

Rebecca, the beauty of fluro is that you can be filled better and get to your sweet spot easier. You should be fine. It may take a couple pricks if they miss the port. Otherwise you are in good hands. Good luck.
