Tomorrow Finally I get to eat

I had surgery June 19th and tomorrow (July 13th) I finally get some mushies. I have lost 22 pounds. I was just wondering what you ate first. I have read some posts about mashed potatoes alot. However, I know that proteins are my target. I want to keep on losing. :clap2:

personally I stayed away from taters, a lot of people make a mixture of refried Beans, cheese and salsa.

or a good one I heard about was kind of a lasagna mixture... ricotta, sauce and cheese baked

cottage cheese

loosely scrambled eggs (left very moist)

anything put in a blender

Protein shake blended with ice

GOOD LUCK

refried Beans topped with a bit of melted cheese....mmmmm

cottage cheese! This has become a staple in my house. I have some every day. Sometimes I add some kind of seasoned salt and other times, a packet of stevia sweetener, depending on what I'm hungry for....

There is a recipe section somewhere on this board. You can have egg salad, tuna or chicken salad, breast of turkey deli meat, and string cheese. These were all on my list of mushy foods I got from my dr. Just remember mushy is just another word for soft foods. Just remember to chew everything until it's liquid.
