I came home on Monday. Praise God! ! Had some very bad bad gas n port pains, soooo very bad, ugh. Still have some but I'm walking, sitting up, using my spirometer. Its been 2 years since I've swallowed wo it getting stuck b4 hitting my sleeved belly. Now after revision to bypass, i feel like a new person, God has been gracious to me and my surgeons are well blessed. I'm 5 days out on liquids, which I'm tired of but hopefully on the 18th, soft foods, so yippie to a small Christmas of soft foods since i had to forego thanksgiving due to 2week preop! Im most excited and thankful. Praying you all are doing well, happy holidays and ty 4 prayers:))

Sleeved: 12/30/13 Sw 236.8, Gw140, was 150, then 167.8 on 11/21/15.

Revision surgery : SW 165, 2 wk preop: 157, post surgery 159.6

CW: 152.2. GW: 140

Glad you're doing well, Deezjeanz ! I had to postpone my surgery due to possible pneumonia, but hopefully will be rescheduled for the 23rd or 24the.

Today was hospital pre-op day. They gave me a blue bracelet from the blood bank. So now I have this constant reminder.

I can't be alone in having so many feelings. I've been depressed as the date get closer. I think I'm scared of the changes that are on coming. I'm a creature of habit. Change is hard.

Had my surgery December 8th, all went well. I was discharged from the hospital on December 10. Gas pains are the only complications I am having along with no appetite whatsoever. I have to force myself to drink liquids. Hope this input helps.

Ty Amy n good luck to you. I always say, everything happens for a reason, so don't fret it, your surgery is going to be exactly when it is suppose to be:)) God bless you and get well soon!

Eeeek! I just got word that I'm approved and will have my RNY on 12/31! :) I've been working on this since May and I'm ecstatic!

@@ShrinkingButtercup It's COMPLETELY normal, what you're feeling about surgery. How are you doing these days?

Surgery was on 12/15. It went smoothly. I came home the next day in a lot of pain. I ran out of meds.

I have a large bruise on my stomach with a knot on it. It concerned me enough to go see my surgeon. He assured me it was normal and re-uped my pain meds. He's apparently proud of my progress in meeting my Fluid and Protein goals.

I also got a little card that lets me eat off the children's menu. I'm a card carrying bariatric now!

So, overall, I'm good. But it's a little bumpy.

Merry Christmas ladies! I'm Ashley and I had my RNY done on 12/21. I went home the next day and since then it's just been lots of sips and walking lol. If there's a FB group id definitely be interested in that. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I had my surgery on the 21st of December and at the hospital I did amazingly. I was positive and the pain wasn't anything. I got up and walked around a ton was cleaning my room and making my bed. Refusing the pains medication because I didn't feel I needed it. I'm home now and I'm down and out. I'm not very positive. I feel like my surgery didn't work. I'm starving and I feel as if I can keep eating and eating. I've had no nausea or vomiting and no dumping. I had a yogurt on my 6th day home and really light veggie puffs that dissolve in your mouth. Anyway, I'm not feeling full with liquids, Proteins or purées! I just want to eat all the time. What is happening to me? Also the night sweats are brutal. I'm an emotional wreck as well. Someone shed some like on what to expect in the come weeks or days? Please thank you!

Ashley
