Let's do it fly-high and hold each other accountable. Do you have a current fitness/workout routine in place? Do you meal prep?

Hi. I had my surgery August 17, 2015.

Happy surgiversary!

Yesterday I had my one year post op appointment. I gained six pounds since my six month post op visit. My surgeon was great about it. He told me what to do to jump back into the game and continue losing weight. I will begin that on Monday. It's a bit hectic with guests over this weekend. He told me I look amazing. I have lost 77 pounds already since my journey began. I will hit this full force. I want to lose another 40 pounds. I know I got this. Thank you so much for all the support from this group.

Thank you so very much amesleeved

Thanks for sharing kozyjozie and welcome to the group! Care to share your stats? I was sleeved 8/23/2015 SW 349 CW 220

GW 175.

I have been working out down to 3 days per week, 30 min weight, 25 min aerobics.

No meal prep, what worked has been consistently doing protein power twice daily and meal once or twice a day with chicken or beef. Snacks were cheese and nuts.

Problem in last 6 weeks has been laziness eating chips and candy from time to time and problem besides the obvious is that unlike chicken and beef meals that keep you full and content for hours, chips and such get you hungry in an hour and then you go to eat in an hour instead of 3 to 4 hours which then really takes up bad calories and such...

I think the key is to just refocus as I was 6 months ago....

I wish there was a way to have had someone record my mood and determination from 11 months ago and have that reprogrammed into my brain so that I could capture that sense of drive and determination and move forward with that same feeling of urgency.

I would pay for that!

Sounds good fly-high. I'm looking to switch up my workout routine based on what my body needs and it needs TONING. Cardio helped me lose the 129 pounds but need to build muscle. I have already booked a adominoplasty (scheduled for 10/2017) that's when I'll have enough vacation time from work and I'm on a payment plan to prepay for the procedure. Because I'm 27 I thought if I exfoliate, moisturize, and wrap that i wouldn't have any lose skin but that's definitely not the case. I recently started running, I'm doing a 5K in October and the skin from my stomach is a problem.

I'm having a really hard time lately. I can see myself falling back into old habits and can't seem to find my way out of it. I've attempted the 5 day pouch test/reset and failed miserably. I REALLY need to get my mind right and refocus on staying healthy. Anyone else been here? it's really so so so so true....our mind is our biggest asset and biggest hurdle all in one.

August 26 was the day I became a sleever.. I'm down 29 pounds so far (including the 1 week preop diet) and feel great. Still on puréed and getting ready to move to sifts next week. Thank god, I've had no issues

@flipper72 ye I am in the same boat my friend

I was sleeved on the 11. I'm doing really good. I'm already eating normal food, but I'm still eating soft food and protein just a little scare of trying some foods. I had no complications.
