Dark, red,incision marks from gastric sleeve surgery: when or do these ever go away?

Hi,

I'm just over two months out and anyone ahead of me can tell me if the incision marks ever fade

ever go back to normal?

I'm certainly in no shape yet to show my abs ;) but it would be nice to know when these go away!

    I will be at two years in December. If you did not know I had surgery, you could not tell by any scars. The biggest one is a little pink, but I have to search to find the other three myself.

    Mine stayed red for weeks. It turns out that I was allergic to the surgical tape. It got better, but not as fast as I would have liked it to. No bikinis or bare mid-drifts to worry about, so no worries.

    I will be 2 years post op this week. I don't really have an incision marks left that are noticeable at all. In fact I wore bikinis all summer with no problem. :-) it just takes time.
