September Sleevers please post updates on how you are doing!

I'm about 2 mths post-op HW 243, SW 221, CW 200. I feel great, I've had no complications after surgery. I watch what I eat, but I'm satisfied. I'm no longer on cholesterol medications and I was taken off 2 of my blood pressure meds and I'm no longer at the threshold for diabeties. This surgery was the best decision I've ever made! I'm very happy with the results and its only going to get better! :)

I too am doing great post op! I have no regrets at all. I'm down a total of 47 pounds and I am feeling great. I still eat too fast once in awhile and my new tummy let's me know. Other than that no problems at all.☺

I am just at six weeks post op. I was done at the end the very end of September.

Highest weight 376

Surgery weight 319

Today's weight 282.4

Doing really well so far and feeling good. Finally feeling back to normal, a new normal but it's good. I didn't have any health issues really but by blood pressure was on verge of being high and now it's low end of normal. ????

Isn't that a great feeling? More than once, at a restaurant, I have had issues with the size of booths. I have noticed recently that I fit. It feels so good!

Surgical stockings on (fortunately no assistance was needed as I managed to get the brutes on all by myself)

Surgery is likely to be before 10 and is a relatively brief 1 hr long affair. Be back on ward by lunchtime and will update when I'm feeling up to it.

Fyi thanks everybody for all your support. I feel even more supported by you guys than my lower legs currently are by all your lovely messages. :)

Adios all.

Des x

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
