@@Bloomer723 process is going good. Down 53 pounds since jan 14. Had a bad stress test though...will see cardiac doctor on 13 to see what it said actually. Hoping its something that can be taken care of and doesn't cancel my surgery. My FCP said it may be something simple and may just postpone not cancel. Thanks for the nice comment...I'm really trying to make this change work. How's things going with u? I bet you're excited to be so close to surgery date!!

So I found some nice distractions.

1. I bought a little journal and on the from it says "Fit Happens." It's a little prompt journal about health and fitness.

2. I started a bullet journal. I made my own right now by printing dotted paper and cutting it in half and putting it in a mini binder. It's going ok. I'm still setting it up but it's fun to get creative. Right now it's a planner so far but I'll add other things.

I just take a Multivitamin right now. I suppose we'll discuss vitamins in one of the classes I have to do.

That's a super cute bullet journal! I need to do something like that to help keep organized. I ordered a few different Protein Shakes to try yesterday. A coffee one from Chike that had really good reviews, and one from GNC. I didn't buy anything from UC.

@@bcostasbiggs ~ Have you heard of Inspire shakes? I use them and they are really good. You can find them on bariatriceating.com. My favorite flavor is Caramel Latte and Peanut butt Cup. I also have Blueberry Cheesecake, banana, strawberry White chocolate and pumpkin. You can mix in Water, different milks and even coffee.< /p>

So, I have this 1 aunt who is my mom's sister and she's a greedy person. All she cares about is money. She hasn't been my favorite aunt my whole life. She cuts my hair so that's why I pretty much stay around. I have 2 more aunts on that side but anways, she is so obsessed with me and my surgery. She's even admitted that she's jealous of me doing this and having the opportunity to do it. She texted me today and asked how things were. I said I have probably lost about 10 pounds since I saw her a month ago, she replied back with a Wow, you've only lost 10 pounds since I saw you? Are you supposed to lose that slow? Then changed her mind and said congrats and she's proud of me. I'm not discouraged or anything by her remark. Just kind of mad about it in a way. Like 10 pounds is a pretty good amount in a month I think. I mean I'm not just going to shrink into a thin person. I won't ever consider myself thin either. I kind of expected those words to come out of her mouth though some time down the line. I mean, I'm losing weight and that's all that matters to me. I just want to be down to 200. I will probably lose more but if that's where I get stuck, I'm fine. I will be able to do the things I wanna do and feel happy. I feel my confidence coming back.

We are always gonna have someone like that in our life I guess and we just have to learn to ignore them. I do sleep. It seems like I never do though lol. I usually sleep anytime after 2am til about 11am or so. I sometimes work at 1030 or 11am so sometimes up before 10am. We are late night people. Even my 3 year old.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
