Thanks! When is your surgery?

I first saw the surgeon July 13th....also saw the nutritionist that day as well. From there, I had to see the psych dr and that was on 7/31 and then my pre-op class on the 6th of august. Submitted to insurance on the 7th, EGD on the 12th and got insurance approval today.

Keep in mind that I had already been seeing a nutritionist on my own before I even decided to seek the surgical route...that helped a lot. My insurance required 6 mos (3 consecutive mos) of seeing a nutritionist.

My surgeons office has been a total help in getting through all I could as quickly as I could, but if I didn't have the 6 most done...then that would have been hard for me to start over again. Thankfully, I didn't have to.

:)

hi congrats on your surgery. Who is your provider if you don't mind me asking. I have HealthNet and I haven't seen much of them on this blog page. I'm nervous.I don't think I get my surgery until next year. I have to do the whole 6 month wait period. I started in July and don't go back to my doctor until Jan. I did the Physical Therapy and started Nutrician. I'm bummed; i know time goes by fast but so discouraged by how long out i have to wair.

Congrats happy for you
