@@WendyA88 i'm tomorrow too....I heard from others to bring a pillow for drive home in case of a sneeze or cough to hold against stomach...! thats one thing and also heard for us to bring easy slip on shoes and loose fit tummy area clothes. Mine a Maxi dress ? hope that helps

OMG!!!!! Thanks for sharing your incredible honest story. I am having sleeve surgery tomorrow and to know the brutal truth I am aware that I may feel all to common with you and your experience. I am nervous but like you said you wanted it. I am ready for the battle. I admire your brave honesty. God Bless you on your journey and I hope you gained many years to enjoy your children and family. Thank you so much. i will pull on my big girl pants and try to muster up bravery.

Tomorrow I join so many of you on here. I can't wait for that. However, what i'm nervous about is the surgeon told me since I have Gerd that it should go away. I find myself constantly researching to see if it made others worse; then I lay awake at night panicking "am I choosing the right surgery" I guess I need to trust and let it go...but i'm overwhelmed and anxious and everything wrapped up in an anxiety ridden ball today:) overall i'm still thrilled. I learned so much on this site and thankful as well......prayers welcomed to calm to me Lol

i mixed mine with almond milk and added ice...it taste ok....doable

I have 2 days till surgery. I'm worried because I've only lost 10 lbs on the pre op liver reducing protein drinks. I have had a menstrual cycle and may be slow because of that too. Anyways after 10 long months it's very real. I'm not nervous, I'm excited.

glad to hear went great. I'm on the waiting bench........next Wednesday

@elizabeth105 I blew it this morning.......................rats. We had a potluck feast for breakfast here at work and yes.....I did it I had a small plate and munched away. I am so mad at myself. But....i'll dust myself off and try again to be good up until surgery:(

Okay, so I've lost 6 whole pounds on this so far but blew it today with only 5 days left to go till my surgery I am so ashamed to say that at work this morning was a feast I should say and I did have some of it...small plate but however I am going to do my best to stay focused on the Protein drinks. I'm so discouraged with myself. I wish I hadn't had any....................................................i'm weak.

clear soups; protein drinks, veggies are mine.......i'm hungry

i think the only thing i'm dreading is the hospital 2 day stay; but really.....after moving all weekend i could use the Rest.....tee hee hee..

@@elizabeth105 Thank you, Today is a new day......6 more to go!!!!! whoa the jitters are setting in. I pray everything goes smoothly. I cannot wait to feel lighter again. Its been a long 10 month journey for me. I have to keep reminding myself this is the last week and then a New Beginning begins!!!!! thats awesome how we have the same day. We are across the states but same goal girly

i'm June 15th too and why did I just eat 2 chocolate clusters...OMG What am I doing? I have these protien drinks 4 times a day clear soups, veggies and then I couldn't walk past my co workers chocolate clusters.....i'm so mad at myself. I'm really struggling here.....help

i'm scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks and i'm more nervous about the surgery. Not the afterwards effects. I'm thankful it's happening now and not having to wait till winter....

I just got approved for my sleeve! I have been patiently waiting 10 months:) God is good! Feeling blessed! can't wait to join you all!

mine is being reviewed by insurance right now!!!! i started process from July 2015 waited 6mo insurance wait. During that time had to get classes in and testing. After that referred to surgeons office waited for consultation and other pre necessary testing. Tomorrow is endoscopy for the surgeons own purpose. I am hoping to get June 15th surgery if approved. This will be a total of 11 mo. Some people sooner, some later it all depends on each. Good luck to you. I'm excited.

so they do endo after you were approved? I meet surgeon tomorrow and endoscopy is May 5th. I didn't know how it all works out. But figured i'd just ask surgeon tomorrow. I'm hoping to have surgery first part of June. Good luck to you.

hi there, I meet with my surgeon for consultation tomorrow. I have my endoscopy on May 5th. I will find out for sure tomorrow. Dreading the endo!!!
