Do most surgeons submit your information to insurance for approval before or after endoscopy? I don't want to have to pay for all these procedures out of my health care account and then not get approved.

The RN told me they don't order those tests until approved (probably so you don't waste your $).

hi there, I meet with my surgeon for consultation tomorrow. I have my endoscopy on May 5th. I will find out for sure tomorrow. Dreading the endo!!!

I have done everything except endoscopy and cardiologist clearance I have even met with the surgeon I don't understand I have to wait until after the endoscopy grrrrrr

I didn't do the test till after my approval.

I did all the testing and am waiting to get approved now. It makes much more sense to get approved first so that we don't waist time or money. Ugh I'm so nervous I'm praying that the approval comes through

I'm getting all the testing done now and they haven't submitted for approval yet I should be done in the next 2 weeks with all the testing hopefully they submit then, and as much as it feels like a waste since we don't know if we're approved at least I'll know everything is working fine lol
