OH, the places I can reach now!

Made you look. :P I believe these are called NSV.

In the car:

I can pop the truck w/o having to open the door to reach the latch on the floor

I can reach down to pick something up off the floor w/o unbuckling my seatbelt

I can climb into the truck w/o my husband pushing me in (but that doesn't stop him for helping me - he likes the view) LOL

At home:

I can bend down to cut my own toenails w/o gasping for air after each toe

I can get up and down from the floor with more ease

I can dry my own back

I can touch the bottom of the washing machine drum when unloading

At work:

I can cross my legs under the desk

Everyday I can see progress.

I'm so happy. Have a GREAT day everyone! :D

That is great! I remember one day I was watching TV late one night, I looked down and my legs were crossed. I couldn't believe it. I haven't crossed my legs in over 10 years. I screamed for my husband. He came running in the room thinking something was wrong. I said look!!!! He high five me and laughed. It's the little things.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
