help~ 4 days post op- full liquid suggestions!

Completely burnt out on sweet things like SF Jell-o, puddings, Protein shakes, just anything sweet is giving me so much nausea and I'm taking nausea meds. What are some good cream Soups that won't make me dump. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I did cream of mushroom and cream of chicken (Campbell's) without any problems. On the recommendation of my dietitian, I mixed in a scoop of unflavoured Protein powder to them to help push up my protein intake numbers. Slow and easy was key for me - 30 minutes to eat 1/4 cup! Good luck!

BTW, just noticed that we have almost the same starting stats - weight, height & BMI. Let me know if you'd like to keep in regular contact. :)

My salvation wasn't a cream Soup but beef broth. Then I moved on to split pea soup and tomato soup. I'm not a fan of cream soups.

My go to right now is mashed potatoes and gravy and refried beans, both of which you can add powdered protein.

I need ideas to eat full liquids... I'm 7 days post op and drinking water, broth of sugar, tropical sugar free Popsicles, I can't drink gatorade or powerade taste horrible ???? , I start drinking vanilla atkins shake. Jell-O diet tastes bad lime or peach give me nauseas ???? please I need more ideas thanks!

I loved V8 juice - spicy or low sodium - and I'd put a dash of something - BBQ sauce or Siracha (like 1 teaspoon) in and stir it up - made me feel like I was 'eating'.

I also loved the Swanson's Infused Broths - Hot and Sour, Thai Ginger were my favorites.
