were you able to have 60 grams of proteins the first couple of days ? I can only drink one shake with 30g of proteins waft about water intake I can only have 50 0z.. To tell you the true I just start with the protein l,doctor told me second week but this is my 3rd with and I just started feeling good this week I'll be drinking 3 shakes a day.

I had my surgery on August 6 now is 17 days and I feel good my abdominal pain is almost disappearing, no nauseas, no vomiting eating tuna, 1% milk, crystal light, atkins shakes,diet Jell-O, soups. No headaches, sipping water the whole day. Good luck in ur journey.

I need ideas to eat full liquids... I'm 7 days post op and drinking water, broth of sugar, tropical sugar free Popsicles, I can't drink gatorade or powerade taste horrible ???? , I start drinking vanilla atkins shake. Jell-O diet tastes bad lime or peach give me nauseas ???? please I need more ideas thanks!

Yes! Is getting better ???? today I less pain. Popsicles are good for stay hydrated.

Hi everyone! After a few days with gas pain today I woke up better, my back hurts but is the bed possition.. I'm drinking lidocaine with maxal for my new stomach it helps a lot, drinking water every time I can, home made soup and tea. Not bad for my 3 days post op, For pain oxytocin since yesterday at night stop using it I hope I don't need it any more. My tempeture was 100.4 to 100.6 today 99 ???? abdomen still in pain but I'm able to handled.

Hello my original date was July 28 but because I had sore throat was love to august 6 I wake up better today but las night was terrible le with the gases on my chest and left shoulder...

Hi bariatric 's friends I came out from surgery after 2 hours.. I had a gas Pain so they gave me medicine sleepy the whole day I woke up at 12 yo walk and the gas pay was worst when to my shoulder and under my right breast is really bad pain but is not new in me I had it with my 1st c section so I know it will go away. Right now feeling a little be better but admitted for the gas pain. I'm very positive I will be fine in a few days... thanks for reading make me feel I'm not alone ????

I'm so nervous... I could not do a liquid diet because I was on antibiotic for a sore throat I hope my liver is not to big. The nurse just weight me and I'm 236 I start at 247 since april. I'm waiting for the nurse to let me know at what time is my surgery.

I'm nervous too!! I go the 29th as well. Today I had a stress test (omg big girl on a tread mill - only lasted 5 minutes before my heart rate was target at 180). Cardiologist just called- normal yay!! And insurance finally authorized me! Double yay! Now just drinking fluids until I pop! I'm glad your cardiology test came out normal. I'm super nervous but I'm trying to think positive ????

What have you been eating / drinking... atkins shake in the mornings,french vanilla is my favorite, water, I made my own chicken broth with a piece of ginger and salt, Popsicles, tea with truvia and premium shake 30 gr. Protein at 7 pm jello pineapple helps when everybody is eating something that I like. good luck
