I was told to lose between 40-50lbs before surgery and ended up losing 60 before surgery. As of a few days ago Inhave lost 16lbs since surgery 3 weeks ago and really notice it the most with the inches lost.

Hi Lisa, I had surgery on June 15 and am also in phase 3. I'm just finally starting to feel normal again after being readmitted to the hospital for dehydration and an infection. I'm not far from Orangevale in Citrus Heights but I go to the 24 Hour Fitness on Auburn and Van Maren although I haven't been back in since surgery and I have mainly been using the pool until I work up to the machines. I'm looking for someone too. You should update your profile to show your surgery date and info so it shows in the forums!

I've gained back most of my weight so my new provider (in Stockton) is helping me get back on track and recommended this website. Hi Chloe, Dr. Eslami did my surgery. I think it's Dr. Eslami that requires weight loss before surgery not the insurance, I don't know about the 6 months worth of weigh ins though but it was something I had to do. It did include the weigh ins with the dietician I had to see before being able to be seen by him though.
