I just had my surgery on July 17th and went by myself. It was great. I was at Star Medica and the nurses were fabulous. They helped me out of bed the first time I walked, they helped me shower the first time and were extremely responsive if I needed anything. I did have my phone with Google Spanish if I needed something they did not understand. They had at least one nurse on each shift that was bilingual, so that helped.

They had a safe for me to lock up my passport and purse, so I did not feel unsafe.

I am willing to share anything else about my experience if you have further questions.

I'm going to Dr. Fernando Garcia at the hospital CER surgical center.

I am so glad you had a good experience. It makes me feel way better! I'm mostly nervous about having some stranger pick me up at the airport to take me to the hospital. I know it's weird but it is stressing me out big time!
