  1. Thank you so much!!! Not 1 regret!! i feel great, at first it was more of a mental hunger lol now I don't have that problem. Food used to control my life and now it doesn't. It's the best feeling ever!
  2. For some reason my post posted like 4 times. One of them has the picture. It's not letting me delete the ones that don't have it
  3. Thank you everyone! Surgery was definitely the best decision I've ever made!

  8. I've lost about 76 pounds in 6 months. I went from a 3x shirt, size 22 pants to a size large shirt, 13 pants. Still have a ways to go but I am happy with what I've lost
  9. I took naked pictures in the mirror. Front, sides, and back. I took the same ones with clothes on too. The naked ones are nice because it is easier to see where you have lost weight. In mine you can't tell as much in the clothes one but the naked ones you can see a huge difference. It's kind of motivating!!
  10. I waited about a week. Only because i didn't want to blow a stitch open or something lol i didn't have any pain after surgery though. Just be gentle and you should be fine.
  11. I traveled to do mh surgery so 4 days after surgery i was on a plane going home. It was an 81/2 hpur adventure and it wasnt too bad. i was tired for about a week maybe 2 after surgery so you should be fine by then. Everyone is different though. I would double check with your doctor to be sure it is fine. best of luck!!
  12. I was sleeved on august 18th and i have lost 26lbs. But i have been stuck since the 30th.. i haven't lost anyrhing since then and it's driving me crazy! I get in as much protein as possible. I drink a ton of water everyday.. when i eat it is small amounts and i am pretty active. I don't know what I'm doing wrong..
  13. My doctor gave me a straw in my drinks while still in the hospital. It has never bothered me. But I would listen to what your doctor says. They have their reasons for everything.
  14. I just turned 25 and i had my sleeve done on August 18th. Best decision I've ever made!!
  15. I would call just to be sure everything is ok. Better safe than sorry. And i didn't have any weight loss for a few days and then all of a sudden it started coming off. I am now 25lbs down. I try to walk often which really helps. It might be the gas pain that you are feeling. Have you tried gasx strips?? They are a life saver!! So is walking. It will make you feel so much better!
  16. You had it done yesterday?? And I'm not sure if chest pain is normal. I would call your doctor.
  17. How far out are you? I'm almost 2 weeks out and the rumbling is getting better. Make sure you eat really slow. Gasx strips helped me a lot! I know it's tacky but i make myself burp while im eating and it is helping. It will get better, your body just has to have time to heal and adjust.
  18. I feel great!! I am down 15 lbs!! (The last day i weighed myself was a couple days into my pre op diet). I have very little pain which is awesome!!! i can handle about a 1/4 of a cup of chicken broth at a time. Popcicles are good so far. I tried jello but it didn't settle very well so i will wait on that. Only a few days left and i can switch to the full liquids! Yaaay!! Just wanted to post to show that it's not that bad. I do have some cravings but i think it's just because i know i can't eat it right now. But at least they are healthy cravings I wish the best of luck to everyone on this journey!!! Keep your eye on the prize!!!
  19. Its been 24 hours since I've had the surgery and I am in so much pain.. evertime i move i start to dry heeve. How long does this last?? I am very nervous for my flight home tomorrow night.

  22. You can get some unflavored protein powder and mix it in your food. Then you dont always have to drink a shake maybe it will help? Hope you feel better soon!!
  23. It is really starting to sink in! I only have 6 days until i get my sleeve!!! I am so excited! A little nervous but way more excited! The pre op diet isnt bad. I'm kind of used to it. Today is day for on the liquid diet and i feel pretty good. Already down 2 1/2 pounds! Woohoo lol
  24. I am on day two of the pre op liquid diet. My Dr. Says i can have a salad with chicken or fish on it for lunch or dinner and protein shakes and water the rest of the day. I can add sugar free jello and broth as needed. So far it isn't too bad. I think i am more mentally hungry lol i drink premier protein, boost, and breakfast essentials shakes. They are all pretty tasty good luck everyone!!
