Dry-heaving

Is anyone else having problems with this? Any suggestions? Plus, I keep getting gas trapped in my stomach and it feels terrible. It feels like rumbles. I'm starting to regret having this surgery ????

How far out are you? I'm almost 2 weeks out and the rumbling is getting better. Make sure you eat really slow. Gasx strips helped me a lot! I know it's tacky but i make myself burp while im eating and it is helping. It will get better, your body just has to have time to heal and adjust. :)

Passing gas is very normal during the first few weeks after surgery. After that it becomes more manageable. Also it is common to hit a stage called "Never trust a fart". Luckily that stage does not last long.

I'm 16 days post. It's like I have to force myself to eat. Nothing sounds appetizing. But I did buy a box of gas x strips, and I am going to pop one of those babies in in just a few minutes lol.

Thanks guys!
